Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Glenboro Health Centre. Duties to include: performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on call schedule and will cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues.

Position Summary
Glenboro Health Centre is an 8 bed acute care and 20 bed long term care facility. Services offered include Diagnostic, Emergency, Public Health, Home Care Services and Mental Health.
Work Location: On site – Glenboro Health Centre (219 Murray Ave, Box 310, Glenboro, MB R0K 0X0), Spirit Sands Medical Clinic (214 Warwick Ave, Glenboro, MB R0K 0X0). There is no option to work remotely.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Anticipated Shift: Full Time, Days, Early Mornings, Mornings, Evenings, Nights, On Call, Weekends
Daily Hours Worked: Various hour shifts (30 to 40 hours per week)
Language: English
Education: Degree in Medicine
Experience: Experience an Asset
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Credentials
• The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree
• Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
• Must be a member of CMPA or provide proof of equivalent malpractice insurance

• All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with the Prairie Mountain Health policy.
