Job Description

Southern Health-Santé Sud is currently seeking a Part Time .4 FTE (2 days a week) bilingual Family Physician to provide services in St. Pierre-Jolys at the Centre médico-social De Salaberry District Health Centre. The Family Physician will participate in the after-hour on-call schedule servicing the Centre médico-social De Salaberry District Health Centre facility. The Family Physician would be based in St. Pierre-Jolys and may provide services in St. Malo, and surrounding area.

Many of the health services offered in the community of St. Pierre-Jolys are available through the Centre médico-social De Salaberry District Health Centre and also features a 14-bed acute care hospital with a 12-hour ER, 22-bed personal care home and community health services including medical clinic, home care, public health and mental health. Telehealth services are offered providing teleconferencing for medical consults, meetings and education sessions.

St. Pierre Jolys is a charming bilingual community unlike any other in Manitoba and is situated approximately 60 km southeast of Winnipeg along highway 59.
